about

Second hour of Music In Me. 1) at 0:15, How Pachelbel’s “Canon In D Major” moves people in unique ways: A) Catherine Bulmer, Walmart manager, reminds her of a special funny moment during her graduation ceremony, B) Rev. Kevin Borthwick, then priest at St. Phillips Anglican Church in Moncton, it takes him back to viewing the Northwest Arm in Halifax while attending King’s College, C) Marisa Piccini, who’s reminded of a wonderful Sunday morning with a friend. 2) Wesley Garner, down at the Southeastern Farmer’s Co-op talks about the music that helps him gear down, The Rankin Family. 3) Song: Rankin Family “My Nut Brown Maiden.” 3) At 12:52, Guy Charlebois talks about the time he needed a break from the overwhelming sadness in the air after the Kennedy assassination. He found it at Place Des Arts in January, 1964 at a Harry Belafonte concert where the standout song, surprisingly, was “Danny Boy.” 4) Song: “Danny Boy”. 5) Showmanship!
