In March of 2018, Fredericton's John Leroux was appointed Manager of Collections and Exhibitions at Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Ten year's previous that, the architect and writer with Kent County roots had just published a book entitled "Building New Brunswick," about the architectural history of the province. That's when I sat him down and got him to talk about some of the remarkable buildings he'd profiled in his book. Thus resulted an eight-part series. The next year, Leroux would sit down for another session and there ensued more iterations. They all aired on CBC Moncton and some were broadcast on other CBC New Brunswick stations.
